Inaugural Clinics Can Help Clays for Kids Sporting Event Raises $53,000 for KINDER Project, Providing Medical Equipment for Children with Special Needs

SOUTH FLORIDA – On Friday, February 23, 2024, Clinics Can Help (CCH) hosted their first annual Clays for Kids clay shoot at Quail Creek Sporting Ranch in Okeechobee, Florida. The strong field was complemented by glorious weather and cheer had by all.

Presented by Gast Construction Group, the tournament raised over $53,000 to benefit the organization’s mission to make medical equipment available to all in need, regardless of their ability to pay, with dollars specifically supporting the KINDER Project which provides new, customized medical equipment to children in need.

“Providing access to critical medical equipment for thousands of children and adults in need is a job we do not take lightly,” shared Clinics Can Help CEO Owen O’Neill. “It is our honor to serve people of all ages and backgrounds to improve their quality of life and sense of dignity by restoring their independence with the proper medical equipment.”

Participants

Taking home first place was the team of Charles Bender, Mike Ellis, Mike Massey and Kevin Williams representing Place of Hope. Second place went to The Morganti Group team of Jeff Diefendorf, Brent Martin, Stephen Sines and JR Madzi. Mike Ellis of Palm Beach Uniforms took first place shooter with Scott Johnson from Flagler Realty & Development winning the second place shooter trophy.

Allen Gast president and founder of Gast Construction Group served as chair of the event as well as being the presenting sponsor.
