CCH especially needs volunteers to serve in the following areas:

Greeter: Meets clients at the door, answers their questions about our services and directs them to the right staff member. This position requires a warm personality and great "people skills."

Phone Assistant: Answers the phone and responds to clients’ questions about CCH services. Phone assistants will also help with making the 200 plus follow-up calls each month to clients to assure that the equipment is still being used and is needed.

Data Entry: Volunteers with basic computer skills are needed to assist with data entry of client applications, equipment inventory, donations, and other information.

Warehouse Assistant: Two or more volunteers are needed to go out in the CCH van and pick up donations of light equipment. These volunteers must have a valid Florida drivers license and be able to do some moderate lifting of equipment.

Professional Services: Gifts-in-kind in the form of the donation of professional services such as computer maintenance and programming; plumbing and electrical repair; or printing are especially welcome.
